A curious web browser with just text and no images.

Lynx may be the strangest Internet browser you've ever seen, but you may find it useful if you use a directionable cursor rather than mouse, or if you want access to written information only from web pages, and ignore the pictures.

Lynx has also been used to build CWIS information systems, or isolated systems within a LAN. In practice, Lynx offers full freedom for web browsing, except that in the visible window you'll only get the text contained in web pages with links included.

With Lynx you select the text and copy it to use as you wish. Furthermore, by not loading the images, it is understood that the browsing speed of Lynx is superior to a conventional browser.
